slacker
Been slacking off at work today. I kinda feel like I deserve it though... and yet still, I feel uneasy about it too. Oh, well. It's raining VERY heavily today, almost like yesterday in Singapore. Except in Singapore you could still travel (read: walk around) even in heavy rain by perusing their underground passes and linked malls. I'm worried about how my staff is going to reach home in this heavy rain. Should've sent her home earlier but it didn't occur to me at all!!
Report on Singapore coming up this Thursday on a TT post, and report on all the things I bought (read: teddies!!) will be on my birthday cause I tucked everything away as my b'day present :)
Speaking of teddies, would anyone be kind enough to buy me
THESE?? It would make my day!

at the airport!
I just had to post to say that I am using airport facilities to go online at the moment. Hahaha :))
Actually, it's thanks to the Citibank Credit Card for access to this Airport Lounge and thus the internet connection, otherwise... ha! The airport in Indonesia is not that advanced.

going to singapore tomorrow!
Finally the big day! Hahahaha. I'll be off to Singapore tomorrow. Only for the weekend, and the agenda's pretty crowded. Hope I'll have time to meet up with my pals and also to shop for teddies and that it'll be great all in all :D

for some reason I find that...
My internet connection has slowed down to a point that is intolerable for me. Frustrating, in fact.
Today has been a pretty good day though, all in all. My nightmares last night proved to be just nightmares instead of omens, mom's Canon Pixma iP1000 proved to save the day although it is now out of ink so I need to sit around and wait for ink delivery from my brother, Miss Inimical is sitting quietly typing and leaving me in peace. The heavy rain has stopped thus allowing me to use the computer again, and in fact even if it rained I would have been happy cause I love the rain :P
According to the
Wishabi test at
Facebook, my wish personality is
Compassionate Carer which means that
People are your priority. You know that the key to happiness is in the people around you and your relationships with them. You may be spiritual, and you will find that investing your time and energy into friends and family will bring you happiness in life. Pretty accurate, I guess :D

Manic Monday for October 22, 2007
Would you be able to serve on a jury and sentence the defendant to the death penalty if he/she were found guilty of a crime that the court felt warranted the death penalty?Hmm... probably. I'm not sure really. It would depend on the situation and everything...
Have you ever faked being ill to avoid doing something you didn’t want to do?YES! Several times, to be honest. And I usually end up being really ill! :))
Would you state you were guilty of a crime you didn't commit to free a loved one?Again, this would depend on the situation. But if I really love the person (like for example the way I love my mom), then it's a yes.

I have no life!
It's sad really to think that I've just spent 8 hours at the office sitting in front of my computer, and now, half an hour since I closed the gallery, I am already sitting in front of the computer again.
I'm glad that my laptop's faithful in this never ending quest of internet surfing and multi-tasking it's supposed to do :)

guess where I got to spend my saturday?
My uncle's house aka the temporary office, that's where! Yeps. I had to work on a Saturday. Of course I was pretty sad about it during the period, but it's gone now. After all, hadn't I promise to be counting my blessings instead? Well, here are things that made me happy today:
1. The Pink Panther (re-check my TT post cause I'm changing 'someone's' name) replied my message! But he doesn't recognize me anymore. I don't blame him, really. We've only met each other for a total of 4 days in 2 different occasions 10 years ago. I should blame myself for remembering him and his oh-so-cute brother! :))
2. My boss's wife (aka my auntie) gave me a cute box with teddy bears on it!! (Yes, I'm easily amused. VERY!)
3. Mom bought me a new iPod casing. A very sleek transparent one which is just soooo... pretty! :x
4. Mom and I managed to put together the cutest presents my church has ever seen for the singing competition we're having tomorrow (to my opinion, anyways).
5. Mom also bought me some cute tiny teddies which I'm keeping for my birthday.
6. I finally found out the beauty of Firefox add-ons!
7. I have a new sandals which does acupuncture, so it's going to make me healthier :)
8. My female friend who went to work in Dubai has arrived safely.
9. I got accepted to
Stargazer and
Glitter10. AND I received this wonderful T-Shirt...
Click to get yours11. Last but most importantly: tomorrow is a Sunday, and I am so NOT going to work even if my boss calls me to! Although I still have to work on the devotion book, and play 'judge' for the singing competition, and of course sing cantor at church early morning :)
Actually I wanted to post up some Linky Love after this, but mom has just demanded me to sleep. So tomorrow, I hope.

I'll Stand by You
One of the favorite question my Sunday School kids ask is "Does God still speak to us today like he spoke to (insert Bible Character's name here)?" -- my answer is yes. But only if you choose to listen. And he speaks is so many different ways that it keeps me amazed every time! Let me tell you about my latest experience, which was a few hour ago.
We had a bad choir practice today. There were only a small number of people there, and we sang (VERY) badly. So my brother (the conductor/trainer) decided to stop the practice and cancel our singing 'duty' this Sunday. I opposed this of course, but mom wouldn't let me speak up because it would worsen my brother's mood. So as we were praying I stood there holding back my tears, asking God why he had let this happen to our choir (I seriously think God has left us because of our pride and also the fact that practice was always full of anger). And at the word "amen", all of the sudden I felt like singing 'I'll Stand by You' by the Pretenders. I haven't sung that song in a million years (figuratively speaking)! And yes, I am aware that it is a pop song. But let's look at the lyrics in a 'Christian' point of view, let's consider if God sang this to us:
Why do you look so sad?
Tears are in your eyes
Come on and come to me now
Don't be ashamed to cry
Let me see you through
cause I've seen the dark side too
When the night falls on you
You don't know what to do
Nothing you confess
Could make me love you less
I'll stand by you
I'll stand by you
Won't let nobody hurt you
I'll stand by you
So if you're mad, get mad
Don't hold it all inside
Come on and talk to me now
Hey, what you got to hide?
I get angry too
Well I'm a lot like you
When you're standing at the crossroads
And don't know which path to choose
Let me come along
cause even if you're wrong
I'll stand by you
I'll stand by you
Won't let nobody hurt you
I'll stand by you
Take me in, into your darkest hour
And I'll never desert you
I'll stand by you
And when...
When the night falls on you, baby
You're feeling all alone
You won't be on your own
I'll stand by you
I'll stand by you
Won't let nobody hurt you
I'll stand by you
Take me in, into your darkest hour
And I'll never desert you
I'll stand by you
I'll stand by you
Won't let nobody hurt you
I'll stand by you
Won't let nobody hurt you
I'll stand by youIsn't it just beautiful? Well, it is to me at least :)
By the way... this is my 100th post on this blog! How cool is that??

Friday Feast #165
Gosh, finally some time to breathe!! Here's today's feast:
AppetizerIf you were a dog, what breed would you be, and why?a
Shar-Pei cause it's unique, like me :)
It's also my favorite kind of dog because I consider it the cutest! I actually collected stuffed Shar-Pei before I became a teddy bear addict :P
SoupWhat does the color purple make you think of?
Easter. That's because during easter (and the 7 weeks before) my church is always decorated in purple colours.
SaladApproximately how long does it take you to get ready each morning?About 15 minutes, or 20 if I have to wash my hair.
Main CourseHow many cousins do you have, and are you close to them?Lemme count... 4 + 2 + 2 + 3 + 3 + 2 = 16?? and that's only my immediate cousins. I'm pretty close to some (umm, about 4?) of them nowadays.
DessertTake your initials (first, middle, last) and come up with something else those letters could stand for. (Example: SFO = Sweet Funny Otter) Another
Witty
Student. That's my 'real' initials, of course ;)

overwhelmed!
Thank you all who've visited my TT yesterday... you've just made my day!
You see, this morning I woke up with a freakishly terrible headache and a sore troath. Luckily, it went away after breakfast. Then as I turned on my laptop, my work e-mail address was not working, citing: password rejected. "Great!", I thought. So I checked on the server's cpanel only to find that all the e-mail accounts are GONE! Can you imagine how I panicked?? And to top it off, as I was trying to overcome my panic, came the (almost) 'dreaded' phone call from my boss asking me to come over ASAP so I can send some SMS invitations. Then he sent me to a separate room with no air-con so it was terribly hot, but as I read all your comments, I just had this warm fuzzy feeling.
And now, thank goodness that: 1. the e-mail accounts are back, probably the server was down or something like that, 2. I managed to work out the SMS so it's going to be easy and not so time consuming, 3. my boss has realized that it was freakin' hot so he turned on the air-con, and 4. my boss's wife supplied me with snacks. Hahah.
Meanwhile, I still have to: 1. do an 'artwork' for the brochures my boss will need, as well as 2. 'artwork' for the business cards, and 3. layout the devotion book for my Sunday School kids.
So some link love to all of you later once I manage to complete at least one task (which means that I could take a 'guilt-free' break, and perhaps jump in for some Friday Feast) :)

Thursday Thirteen - 7th edition

Actually, I had a very special TT planned, with pictures and all... but since I don't have enough time for that (I want to have time to go visit people, you know), and since my cousin announced this morning how she found a long lost friend on facebook... here goes:
Thirteen People I Would Love to find on Facebook1. Ann M. Parkerwas my penpal when I was 9, I think, from a school project, and our friendship lasted for several years until I got to busy to reply to her last letter and lost her address.
2. Andrea Gibasis my half-sister. Yes. Can you imagine I lost contact with her? Actually I've never even had any contacts with her. My mom used to e-mail with her but when mom's computer broke down she lost the address.
3. Lisa Hauckedaughter of my mom's friend in Germany, we used to hang around together a lot whenever I visit.
4. Sonya HauckeLisa's big sister. I think mom does have contact with her. Nevertheless it would be cool to find her on facebook.
5. Nadine... umm, I forgot her last nameshe was kind of a foster kid at my nanny's house when I was a kid and mom and I used to fly to Germany quite regularly. Mom had to work and she would drop me off at the nanny's house (her name is Mrs. Reuter). Among all the other kids, Nadine was my best friend because we were roughly the same age. I even went to school with her for a day!
6. Veronique... somethingGosh, I used to be so good at remembering names. Anyways, Veronique was born one day before me. Our moms were in the same hospital so we practically were friends since before we were born! I also went to school with Veronique for a day. And we were good friends... and I haven't seen her for a good 10 years, I think.
7. Caroline... something tooVeronique's little sister, who was as cute as a button when she was little and grew to be a tomboy last time I saw her. Obviously, we played together a lot. Hahah.
8. Felicia ChandraMy best, best, best friend in elementary school. Then she moved to Singapore and though we did manage to meet each other once, thanks to me changing phone numbers too often I've lost contact. I did saw her cousin at the mall the other day but since she was with her boyfriend it seemed rather appropriate to stop her and ask, right?
9. Keanu (name changed for my protection)Hmm... this is going to be dangerous but anyways... I had a major, major crush on this guy. :x Hahah. To this day I still think I had blown my chances with him thanks to my inability to speak proper German. Anyways, let's not go into details cause of number...
10. Pink Panther (name changed for my protection)who is Keanu's kid brother. Well, actually it's unfair for me to call him kid cause I think we're the same age... or perhaps he's just a tad younger? I forgot. Anyways, this is the person that my cousin 'found' this morning and I've messaged him so let's see if we could build some connection again.
11. My kindergarten classmatesHonestly, I've lost my kindergarten memories but it sure would be cool if anyone shows up saying we went to kindergarten together. And of course there's this cute guy on the class pic... ;)
12. P321 people!!That's about 200 people at least!! I've only got back in touch with a few of them through friendster, and those I haven't got in touch with include some of my best friends during the program (oh, P321 was a leadership program from my school's foundation, btw).
13. Oh, let me think... of course! The rest of my relatives!I've happily found my four cousins who used to live next door but are now in Canada and in Bali and of course the two who now live in Canada as well, and one who's still in Bali but might move to Canada soon (what is it with my family and CANADA??)... so wouldn't it be cool to find the rest of them? Not just cousins, of course. How about my extended family?? Way cool. Hahah :D

cookie monster
Just finished the last few bites of my
Ben&Jerry's Mint Chocolate Cookie pint and now munching on a Betty Crocker oatmeal cookie courtesy of my cousin. Yum! Yum! Yum! =P~
I love Ben&Jerry's ice cream... and boy was I happy when I found out that a local supermarket sells them! So far I've bought Phish Food, Half Baked Cookie, Cherry Garcia (the lite version) and of course Mint Chocolate Cookie (the only high fat version so far), and I loved them all except for Cherry Garcia which tasted bleh. Curious tho' cause back in Singapore I had my first taste of Ben&Jerry's via a Cherry Garcia bar they sold as a package at the movies. It was DELICIOUS, I tell you! It was probably the reason why I bought more Ben&Jerry's in my life. Weird. Could it be because it's the lite version? :-/
Anyways, also notice that I have two 'cookie' flavoured ice creams in my list, and I've just eaten a cookie. So I'm just going to say: I love cookies! Hahaha. As if you needed to know.
Can you see I'm going out of my mind? It's late. Maybe I should shower and sleep. I can't believe tomorrow's already a Thursday again. Whatever will I write as tomorrow's Thursday Thirteen??

finally!
Ooh, it feels good to be home! It's been such a long daaay... I was at the office until 8pm! Wow! I have my disappointments and I could seriously do a very long post about everything. But I think I'm going to take the positive attitude and be happy (and thankful) for the good things (like air conditioner) instead :)

at my 'temporary' office
There are two things I like about my current position. One, the air-conditioner and two, the 'free' internet connection. Of course the same goes for my usual office which will be closed until this upcoming Monday.
Meanwhile I believe there are a bunch of things that need to be done ASAP and yet for some I need my boss's approval/insight and since he's roaming the streets somewhere that means I can't work on the more important stuff. Which is a reason why I'm blogging in between my data entry. Bad girl. I know. But oh, well... ;)

being lazy...
I'm being lazy even though there are a zillion things I want to do! Hahaha =))
I want to revamp some things here, add more stuff. I want to create my teddy bear website. I want (umm... I mean I have) to work on my company's website. I want to join some blogrolls. I want to do some of those cool blog projects. I want my own domain. I want a box of famous amos cookies for my birthday. I want this. I want that. Yeps. People (read: yours truly) are never satisfied.
Anyways... mom has 'rescued' me. She has officially commanded me to get off the computer and take a shower. That will be a good start. I want a shower :D

If you could have a romance with any fictional character, who would it be?Legolas from Lord of the Rings, or Will Turner from Pirates of the Carribean? (yes, I like Orlando Bloom ;) )
If you could be invisible for one hour, where would you go and what would you do?Spy on someone, of course! >:) The question is who'll be worth it?? :-/
If you could ask God any single question, what would it be?Why aren't you here with me tonight? *sings Mandy Moore's 'Someday We'll Know'*
Naah, if I get to meet God, all I want him to do is give me a hug. I don't need any questions answered :)

Speaking of feasts, today is a feast day here in Indonesia, especially for the Muslims as they celebrate
Eid al Fitr. At home, my housekeeper prepared their traditional dish, the
Ketupat along with Beef
Rendang, Chicken
Opor and other stuff which I have no idea what the name is. My housekeeper does the best cooking for these items! Yum! =P~
After the delicious breakfast we went to a friend's place in Bogor to... FISH!! Hahahah. It was a fun experience. I even caught a big one in between the many failed attempts!! Better luck next time? ;)
Anyways I got home and found out that there's a reply from New York about work and the person asked if we could settle everything this weekend so I guess I better run and take care of it... I might be going to New York next month if all goes well (well, at least I hope my 'boss' would decide to take me along). How cool is that?? Hope I'm not putting my hopes up too high...

Friday Feast #164
AppetizerWhen was the last time you were surprised?Few hours ago when my boss called to tell me I had to redo the labels I printed a week ago!
SoupFill in the blanks: My eyes are ________, but I wish they were __________.brown... grey like they used to be when I was a baby :P
SaladIf you were a Beanie Baby, what would you look like and what would your name be?actually I was going to say a teddy bear on first impulse. But I think I'd be a lil brown squirrel and go by the name Coco ;)
Main CourseName two things you consistently do that you consider to be healthy habits.1. Drink tons of water and 2. sleep 8 hours each night.
DessertWhat brand of toothpaste are you using these days? Do you like it? Why or why not? I switch between Close-Up Spa, Close-Up Milk and Sensodyne just because. I like Close-Up Spa best for its taste. I like Close-Up Milk for its colour, and I like Sensodyne because I actually have sensitive teeth :D

I cannot tolerate my boss!
Gosh, I can't believe I'm in tears.
I mean seriously... there are just some things he does that frustrates me.
Like calling me early in the morning to fix his printer (which turned out to be out of ink).
And hanging up the phone after a long list of tasks just to call me within the next 30 seconds and change the tasks.
Or telling me I should change something AFTER I've done all of it.
Guess I'm not quite ready for the working world... and guess I'm lucky that my boss is also my uncle lest it be worse.
And yet sometimes I think I need to learn more from Yeats (read this at
Tink's blog yesterday:
Think like a wise man but communicate in the language of the people. Hahah. Just kidding... not! :D
BTW, thanks everyone for visiting my blog yesterday, and thanks
Susie for pointing out the difficulties in navigation. I added some text next to the dots so hopefully that solved the problem :)
And of course thanks
Daisy for the base of this layout!
And to
Vixen: I had about 30 on my bed, and the rest were stuffed in my luggage. But I rotate them during the 6 months ;)
To everyone who's never been to Singapore: you should go there!! :x

Thursday Thirteen - 6th edition
Actually I had a bit of a TT block this morning, but a trip to my past TT's successfully gave me this theme. Since I'm all about wanting to go to Singapore, I present you...
Thirteen Things I miss about SINGAPORE1. Hanging out with the OscariansSome days we'd just sit at the food court next to our working place and chat the night away, other days we went to the cinema, or we spend hours talking about where to go for dinner. Life's like that. It was awesome.
2. Working at Oscar'sEdz used to say working there is SSDD... Same Sh*t, Different Day. Nothing beats having to run around the restaurant carrying dirty plates, cleaning tables, meticulously setting the tables back to perfection (yeah, rite), serving food and drinks while answering to the most annoying questions and racing to get the bill printed. But a satisfied customer (or b*tching about the day) leaves us recharged for the next day :)
3. 7/11In case you have no idea what 7/11 is... it's a mini market, and most are open 24 hours. It's all over Singapore. And on my way to work, I pass at least 3 of them. If I have to come in early, I always stop by to buy a hot chocolate and grab something to eat. I also drop by just to find various useless items like magazines or those cute teddies. Oh, and lets not forget their delicious food item... which I forgot the name. D'oh.
4. Teddies!!Nothing. I repeat: nothing made my days in Singapore more memorable than the mass amount of teddies I managed to 'kidnap' back to Indonesia. I reckon there was about... 143 of them.
5. Public TransportationOkay, so most of you are probably wondering how this got on the list. But if you've lived in Jakarta... maybe you'll understand. Ah, the ease of being able to hop on a bus or catch an MRT to go places... or to jump in a taxi without fear of safety even at 3am! How I long to have that here in Jakarta.
6. Teh BingAlso known as Iced Milk Tea. Or Teh Tarikk Aaarrghhh... I want some! Now!!
7. Chicken RiceOn our trips (that's my trip with the Oscarians - see no. 1), whenever we stopped at a foodcourt to eat, they would guess that I'll be getting Chicken Rice. To an extend that it became an internal joke. Me and my chicken rice. I love chicken rice! But actually I love Char Siew (that's red pork) rice better. And actually, I think I ordered more Char Siew rice than Chicken Rice. Yum!
8. My BedWhile there, I shared an apartment with 17 other girls. So there was 6 of us in a room. We used bunk beds. In my first month, I slept on the upper side. I loved it cause I always wanted a bunk bed. Then I moved to the lower side. And I loved it even more! My bed was voted the coziest place. I 'installed' several cloth racks and a curtain. And of course... there were a lot of teddies there!
9. BookstoresBeing a lover of English books, Singapore was heaven! Kinokuniya bookstore was awesome, and there are a bunch of other places, like Borders or MPH. Also, the second hand bookstores! And let's not forget the Christian bookstores. Love 'em!
10. Orchard Road Presbyterian ChurchI loved the homey, quiet and serene atmosphere. Especially when it got to the part where we're all singing The Lord's Prayer. Gosh.
11. SafetyNo explanation needed, I reckon?
12. Being able to walk wherever I want to goOkay, so I guess it's a bit of a repetition about safety and public transportation. And you're probably wondering why I like to walk to places. But I seriously enjoyed it! And then of course it was excellent exercise. My greatest achievement however, was the morning I walked to work from my apartment! Hahah. That's one experience I'll never forget.
13. SinglishWhen I first arrived in Singapore, I had trouble understanding what the h*ll everyone's saying. When it was time for me to go home, I had trouble speaking 'normal' english. Nowadays,
can switch back and forth easily lor... and I actually think that Singlish is great and that the Singaporeans should embrace it and not try to get rid of it completely (the government launched a campaign called 'speak english properly). This way, I could add another language to the list of languages that I speak. Hahaha.

Yeps. New layout!
As I posted my last entry, I looked at my blog... and got bored by its layout. So I wandered around the web, visited
blogskins, found
a layout I like, and tweaked around with it. What you see... is the result. Though the original is so much better of course, this is personal. And I love it :)
Now if only I could get my messenger icons thingie working again... :'(

Edz's Blog... and what it prompted me to think about...
So in an attempt to try to ask my ex-colleagues in Singapore to buy me the Starbucks Destination Bear: Singapore, I wandered around their friendster profiles... and I found out that Edz now has a blog!!! (Okay, he's been blogging since August, blimey, I haven't been so updated to their 'condition' :P). Just so you know, Edz was a friend of mine while I did my internship in Singapore. We hung out quite a lot, and he's a lot of fun... and I think he still owes me some money! :))
Had a lot of fun reading it (Oh, please feel free to check it out at
http://edzgorgor.blogspot.com!).
I miss those days in Singapore soooooo much, though come to think of it... I have no idea why!! Those days were... how can I put this correctly? Well, the work was very tiresome, but in a way it was a lot of fun. I didn't regret pouring all my energy into work and never having time to go 'sight-seeing', but I was rather distressed by my scores - cause apparently I wasn't good enough, after all I've done.
I keep reminding myself though that they (read: the manager who evaluated me) had compared me with one of their best captains. And seriously, I have absolutely no problem with being not as good as that particular person (which probably meant that I was WAAAY better than some of the other employees, BTW). Although it did hurt my final GPA :(
Another thing is my relationship with people while I was there... you see... one of the highest scores I got on the evaluation form was for my ability to get along awesome with everyone. And yet, until this day I still question the sincerity of the 'friendship' we had. Because, as with people everywhere, I've noticed, this is what happens. For example we are sitting together with 6 people. The moment 1 person goes away, everyone will start talking (badly) about this person. When the person comes back and another goes, they suddenly start talking (badly, again) about this one, and so on. And sadly, I gave in to the 'force' to join in. And yet, everyday I question whether or not I know their REAL opinion of me. Sick, I know. But look around you... isn't it happening everywhere?? :-/
So I guess that leaves you with two options. One, the path I chose back then, is to follow the course. The second, is to NOT hang out with people. And leave you to be 'their' target... especially with talks about being an 'anti-social'. Hahah (that's an ironic laugh, btw).
Nevertheless, I look forward to going to Singapore this end of the month and hopefully be able to meet up with these people. Despite the fact that I don't know their real opinion about me (and don't forget the fact that NONE of them remembered my birthday!), they're still a lot of fun to hang out with, and I do consider them my friends. And perhaps I'm just being paranoid and the truth is that they all think of me as their friend too ;)
Oh, and another thing that I loved about Edz's blog? His use of Singlish. Hahah. Believe it or not, I'm a fan of that language! =))

I guess I'll never get over you...
Josh
(not a real name).
It's annoying the fact
that my heart still skips a beat at the sound of your name.
That my eyes still can't seem to look at anything else but your face when you're around.
That there are so many things I hate about you...
and not one thing I could list down to reason why I say I love you.
That it has been over thirteen years...
and I really don't believe that
infatuation could last so long!

Online Bible Study
I am seriously astonished by the amount of Christian resources available on the net! I mean... it goes to the point that I could actually spend 24hours online and still find something interesting to read/explore!! :-O
My favorites so far are...
Crosswalk,
AIBI,
Christian Classics Ethereal Library,
All About God and of course
RBC, the publisher of my daily devotionals Our Daily Bread.
And then there are still a zillion more. I am obviously focusing my search in bible studies, as you probably noticed. Yet, even with all the online resources available, as usual... I still feel to urge of having to buy the book. So I'm looking forward to exploring the Christian bookstores in Singapore! But how am I ever going to afford everything that interests me?? And where am I going to keep all those books?? :-/
Ah, the questions of life...

Neglection Alert - What am I complaining about??
So yeah, I've neglected my dear (not so) old blog again. My excuse this time? Work kept me busy. Other than the thoughts on work, I've been building on the thought of delving deeper into God's Word (aka the Bible) and seriously considering taking a Master's degree in Biblical Studies.
This afternoon I was struck by a depressing thought on work and how it 'took away my joys of life'. Yet as I look back at it now... I'm accessing the net in my well air conditioned 'office', writing my blog, sipping on some tea, downloading some stuff... and I'm allowed to closed down at 4 and go home if I want to. No, I have absolutely nothing to complain about.
What's my thought of the day? Always look at the positive side of things? Well, if there's one thing I've learned about, it's that I should be grateful of what I have. And I will try to stay that way :)
And I will blog regularly from now on. No more neglection for my dear (not so) old blog. Hahah :D
